What is a Peace POD?
A Peace POD is a bespoke sensory space designed with you for regulation, reset and recovery. We create indoor and outdoor PODs in any size for homes, offices and schools, with lighting, seating and sensory options chosen around the people using them. We can also design a calming sensory interior in an existing unused room.
How much does a Peace POD cost?
A full stack indoor Peace POD starts from £7,995 and a full stack outdoor Peace POD starts from £10,000. Upgrades such as massage chairs, medical-grade furniture and immersive projection are priced separately in your quote, and payment plans are available.
Can I put a Peace POD in a classroom or school?
Yes. Peace PODs are widely used in schools, SEN provisions and alternative provision settings as regulation rooms, sensory retreats and staff wellbeing spaces. We help you choose the right size, whether an indoor breakout POD or an outdoor garden POD, and stock it with age-appropriate, neuroaffirming items.
What's the difference between an indoor and outdoor Peace POD?
Indoor PODs are designed for homes, classrooms, workplaces and healthcare settings — soft-lit, quiet and warm. Outdoor PODs are weatherproofed for gardens, playgrounds and campus spaces, with materials chosen to handle UK weather while keeping the calming interior feel.
Who are Peace PODs for?
Peace PODs are used by autistic and ADHD children and adults, families supporting neurodivergent loved ones, schools, universities, workplaces and healthcare settings. They also support sensitive contexts including OCD, post-natal depression, bereavement, cancer care and dementia — we tailor each build to the people using it.

Yes. We deliver and install Peace PODs across the UK. Once you send your build we confirm pricing, delivery timelines and installation details within one working day.
Can I pay a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes. You can enquire only, secure your build with a 20% deposit, or pay in full — the option is available inside the configurator. We send a secure payment link with the confirmed quote.
Can I customise what goes inside my Peace POD?
Every item is hand-picked by you. Start from a curated preset (for example ADHD focus, sensory calm or workplace reset) or build fully custom — choosing aromatherapy roll-ons, sensory tools, faux greenery, warm-white lighting and soft textures that suit the person using the POD.
What is the difference between a sensory pod and a therapy pod?
A sensory pod focuses on sensory input and regulation, with lighting, texture, scent and sound tools that help someone move out of overwhelm. A therapy pod is a private, low-arousal room used for 1-1 sessions, counselling, pastoral conversations or staff supervision. A Peace POD can be configured as either, or as both, depending on how your school, workplace or care setting plans to use the space.
How do I create a calming room in a UK school with limited space?
We design around the space you have. Choose a bespoke indoor POD, an outdoor POD in your school grounds, or a calming sensory interior in an unused classroom, office or storage room. Any size, with the layout and sensory options agreed with your school.
Are Peace PODs suitable for SEN and SENCO provision?
Yes. Peace PODs are used as SEN regulation rooms, sensory retreats and de-escalation spaces in mainstream schools, specialist provisions and alternative provision. Contents are neuroaffirming and age-appropriate, and we can align the setup with your SEN support plans, EHCP outcomes and safeguarding requirements.
How long does it take to install a Peace Pod?
Once your build is confirmed, most indoor Peace PODs are delivered and installed within a few weeks, with outdoor garden PODs taking a little longer due to groundwork. We confirm exact delivery and installation timelines with your quote, within one working day of your enquiry.
Can workplaces use a Peace POD as a quiet room or wellbeing space?
Yes. Workplaces use Peace PODs as quiet rooms, decompression spaces and neuroinclusive wellbeing rooms, supporting reasonable adjustments, reducing sensory overload in open-plan offices and giving staff somewhere private to reset between meetings.
Can you transform a spare room or ‘junk room’ instead of building a POD?
Yes. We design calming sensory interiors in existing rooms at home, in offices and in schools, including unused rooms and spaces currently used for storage. You do not need a new standalone POD. Existing-room designs are quoted for your space, with bespoke options and sensory upgrades priced upon discussion.
