Social value questions
- Does funding a CIC count as social value?
- Yes. Public buyers must take social value into account under the Procurement Act and the social value model. Funding a community interest company with an asset lock, local delivery and reinvested surplus provides evidence under wellbeing, equal opportunity and local growth themes, provided you can show what was delivered and for whom, which is exactly what our reporting gives you.
- Can we use this in a live bid?
- Yes. We will provide a letter of intent, delivery detail, beneficiary numbers and costed commitments in time for your submission deadline. Tell us the deadline when you enquire.
- What is the minimum commitment?
- A single funded CPD session from £750. There is no minimum contract length and no retainer.
- How do you choose which schools or families benefit?
- We prioritise settings and families with the highest need and the least ability to pay, and we are happy to focus delivery in a region that matters to your organisation.
- Who do we contract with?
- Community and funded delivery is contracted with Find Your Inner Peace Community CIC, company number 17459850. Commercial training and product purchases for your own staff are contracted with Find Your Inner Peace Ltd.
