50 hours of practical development

We believe learning to coach requires more than understanding theory. Practitioner participants will complete approximately 50 hours of structured practical development during the programme. This is expected to include:

40 hours

Client Coaching Practice

Develop real-world coaching experience, confidence and practical coaching skills.

5 hours

Peer Coaching & Skills Practice

Practise and develop coaching approaches within a supportive learning environment.

2 hours

Observed & Assessed Coaching

Demonstrate practical coaching competence and receive structured feedback.

3 hours

Group Supervision & Reflective Practice

Reflect on coaching experiences, explore professional practice and continue developing professional judgement.

Together with approximately 44 hours of structured CPD and live training, this creates a substantial six-month learning and practical-development experience.

About your Programme Lead

The ADHD Coach Training & Certification Programme is developed and delivered by a practitioner professionally trained through the Positive Psychology Guild (PPG) and Neurodiversity Centre, with qualifications in strengths-based neurodiversity and inclusion practice and training.

Alongside professional qualifications, specialist training and practitioner experience, the Programme Lead also brings lived experience of neurodiversity to the programme. This combination of professional knowledge, specialist training and lived experience helps create a learning environment that understands neurodiversity not simply through theory, but through the realities of everyday life.

The programme takes a strengths-based, person-centred and neurodiversity-inclusive approach. We recognise that every person experiences ADHD differently and that effective coaching should respond to the individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

Lived experience also informs the programme's emphasis on empathy, understanding, practical application and working with neurodivergent people rather than trying to change who they are.

Professional competence combined with curiosity, compassion, respect and an understanding of each client's individual experience.

Certification

Our ADHD Coach certification is awarded by Find Your Inner Peace Ltd to participants who successfully complete the relevant ADHD Coach Training & Certification Pathway and demonstrate the knowledge, practical skills and competencies required by the programme. Participants do not receive certification simply for attending.

Certification requires successful completion of the relevant:

  • ADHD CPD learning
  • Live training
  • Practical coaching requirements
  • Reflective practice and supervision
  • Observed coaching
  • Case study/portfolio requirements
  • Competency assessments

Once all required elements have been successfully completed, the participant will be awarded their ADHD Coach certification by Find Your Inner Peace Ltd.

Professional training & certification clarification

The Programme Lead's professional practitioner training and qualifications were obtained through the Positive Psychology Guild (PPG) / Neurodiversity Centre, and provide the professional foundation from which this programme is delivered.

The ADHD Coach certification received by successful participants is awarded by Find Your Inner Peace Ltd following successful completion of our programme and its assessment requirements. Graduate ADHD Coach certificates are not issued by the Positive Psychology Guild.

The programme is not ICF-accredited, Ofqual-regulated, university-accredited or accredited by another external professional body.
